MICHEL DESMARAIS & BRUNO LORD
MICHEL DESMARAIS
As a young boy he pretended all sorts of duties in order to sneak into the workshop of Léo Ayotte, a neighbour. A great love had begun… painting.
Today the artist enjoys his freedom to paint and affirms his tenderness towards the skies and countrysides of Quebec. From ther soars a form of freshness lighting his rustic sceneries. A new study, a new subject, who knows… a new force guides Michel Des Marais.
The sensitivity and the passion that he withholds lead to the temptation to accompany him through the fields and the shepherd farms.

HUMBERTOPINOCHET Pinochet is a great traveller and he much enjoys reproducing his vision of the world, which he relates in an anecdotal way. No sooner has the artist captured his subject and its luminosity, than he hurries back to the studio to produce unique pictures, dense with life and colour. His preferred subjects are urban scenes, which he treats in lively tones, intermingled with patches of heat and sun.
The sensitivity and the passion that he withholds lead to the temptation to accompany him through the fields and the shepherd farms.

NATHALIE CHIASSON WOMAN OF MY LIFE
Initiated to the arts as a young girl through classical dance, which she practised for over 15 years, Nathalie Chiasson mastered the language of the body. She has had a very successful career in theatre and dance and also taught dancing to children for many years. She was always fascinated by expressing emotions using the body language. She decided to take on studying fashion design and graduated in 1989, winning the prestigious award « Dé d’argent » that same year. In her paintings, using acrylic and coffee wash, she brings together her many talents as a fashion designer, and her passion for the human figure in action. She paints in a figurative and expressionist manner still life and roosters, using a thick layer of paint and textures…all with passion, movement and energy.
